Twelve years working with the world's top coaches
Mateusz Janik is a statistician with years of experience at the highest level of the game. The 2026/2027 season will be his twelfth as a statistician and assistant coach.
For the past four years I have been training statisticians in Poland and abroad. More than 70 people have already graduated from Szkoła Statystyków, and many of them now work for clubs competing at the highest level and for national teams.
I spent six seasons working with Stéphane Antiga at KS DevelopRes Rzeszów, and together we won the Polish championship. I also had the pleasure of working with Stefano Lavarini and the Poland women's national team. Last season I was part of the staff at Ślepsk Malow Suwałki alongside head coach Dominik Kwapisiewicz, and from the 2026/2027 season I work with coach Piotr Graban. I picked up experience abroad as well, at BIN Pasundan in Indonesia, under coach Ryan Masajedi.
Working with coaches who see volleyball in very different ways let me build my own training program. Beyond running the software, I show you how a coaching staff reads the game and how the scouting system I developed over the years actually works.

Questions I hear most often
The course runs for 4 months. In my experience that is the right amount of time to take in all the material and go calmly through everything the job of a statistician involves.
Yes. I always help the people who stand out during the course find their first job at a club. More and more coaches ask me to recommend someone for a statistician role, and the offers come from Poland as well as from abroad. We also run a group where we post the offers as they come in. Taking the course does not guarantee a job on its own, but I will do everything I can to help.
Everything happens online, so you lose no time commuting. There are no fixed meeting hours: the lessons and materials are recorded as video and PDF, so you decide when you study. We stay in touch the whole way through, though. You can write or call at any hour, and when the questions pile up we set up a video call at a time that works for you. You can study an hour a day or give one day a week to it. The more time you invest, the sooner you will code matches smoothly, but the pace is your own.
Many of the people I have worked with are now with teams playing at the highest level.
